Summer Camps at TLC Farm

Registration is open for summer camps at TLC Farm!

All camps are Tuesday-Friday, led by professional teachers at TLC Farm and in the surrounding forest of Tryon Creek State Park.

Children will participate in exciting nature-based crafts and empowering activities such as gardening, herbal medicine making, crafting, natural building, woodworking, forest exploration and more. Each day we'll visit the goats and chickens, explore the forest, hear stories, sing songs and share a nutritious, organic snack.

Visit WillowCreekForestSchool.org for more information about summer camp dates & themes and registration.

#AccessTLCFarm Fundraising Campaign

Tryon Life Community Farm is a rare jewel in a changing Portland - it's a farm, in a forest, in the city. It's a classroom, event space, refuge, and so much more! Right now, it needs your help.

We're halfway to our goal of raising $22,000 to improve access to our land and program in the following ways:

Wandering along paths in the gardens and orchards is delightful, as long as you are very sturdy on your feet.
Path Improvements: $4,000

Attending an event in our yurt is awesome, except when it's cold.
Yurt Insulation: $3,000

Arriving on the land is a breath of fresh air - then it gets really bumpy.
Driveway/Parking Redesign Plan: $5,000

Everyone needs access to land - no matter what their income! Keep all our workshops and events on a donation basis.
Year-round financial accessibility: $10,000

In short - it's hard to get here and hard to get around. Most classes and events are limited to warm weather months, as the indoor gathering space is not yet insulated. And even with volunteer labor and donated materials, land maintenance costs are real. With your support we can remove those barriers to access!

This is where you come in: Join the #AccessTLCFarm Campaign with your donation today and spread the word!  mail a check to TLC Farm, 11640 SW Boones Ferry Rd, Portland, OR 97219, or donate online.

Feedback and participation welcome! Please send bug reports to web@tryonfarm.org
