This is a fundraiser for TLC Farm's educational programs with a suggested donation of $10-20, but no one turned away for lack of funds.

The flowers need rain to Bloom! All events still will happen - rain or shine - as we get cozy together in the yurt! Come today and we'll teach you our favorite rain songs. . .
We're teaming up with our friends at City Repair to celebrate the last day of the Village Building Convergence and have a very special Bloom to share with you. Here's some details:
Activities begin at 3 and include hula hooping & facepainting with Ruckus Muckus, making seed balls, visiting the baby goats, and a roving fiddler!
We're honored to host storyteller Ed Edmo at 4:30. Ed is a Shoshone-Bannock poet, playwright, performer, traditional storyteller, tour guide and lecturer on Northwest tribal culture.
At 5 pm, you can dance to Lumberjack's "foot-stomping, heart-pounding vagabond rock" or take a walk with Mae, our community herbalist, to meet the medicinal plants throughout the land.
Throughout the day we'll be selling homemade sodas and snacks from our wonderful tea house, and at 6 pm the VBC nourishment team will have a yummy vegetarian dinner available for $10.
In the evening, we'll sing together in song circles throughout the land. Please bring songs to share that invite group sing-alongs and are rooted in your own cultural experience. If you would like to take part in a recorded group dialogue about your experience in song circles as part of a region-wide study, you can join a group in the hour before dinner.
$10-20 sliding scale donation for the event, kids are free. All proceeds benefit TLC Farm's sustainability education programs and the Village Building Convergence. Want to volunteer and get in free? Email brenna@tryonfarm.org.
As always, there is no onsite parking. Please catch our continuously running shuttle van at the nearby Riverdale High School, 9727, SW Terwilliger Blvd. Drivers are invited to drop off passengers at the top of our driveway then park at the High School lot. Coordinate rideshares here!
Feedback and participation welcome! Please send bug reports to web@tryonfarm.org
