YURT WORKPARTIES Saturday and Sunday!!
We are very excited to be getting a 30 foot yurt for our Village Green, to be used for events and workshops of all kinds!
On Saturday 10am-5pm we will finish the giant wood platform and subfloor, as well as finish scrubbing the walls and roof til they are nice and clean! Join us for a sunny day and a fun workparty! Snacks, lunch and general awesomeness will be provided.
On Sunday at 10am we will build the yurt!! This requires just a few people, so if we have a crowd, their job will be sharing smiles and support. It will be fun to watch this building emerge!! Snacks will be provided. Please bring your own lunch (or contact Jenny--we might make this a potluck!)
Please RSVP to Jenny (at) tryonfarm (dot) org if you can come on SATURDAY! Thanks!
If you are super excited about this project and want to help in other ways, let Jenny know! (For example, there are teams for flooring, heating, lighting, decorating, etc.)
