TLC Farm Skillshare: each one teach one

Let's DIY together! Land tending, emotional wellbeing, spiritual connection, hard skills and soft ones: let's share!

A skillshare is an open event in which we share skills -- of all kinds. We have prearranged several facilitators, listed below -- and we welcome you to let us know as soon as you know a skill you'd like to share- mwe've lested some of the offerings below, and more will come. (But you can also decide last minute, spur of the moment, what to share!)

At the beginning of each of three sessions, facilitators will announce their offering and where to gather. Between and around the sessions, there'll be lots of opportunity for mingling, games, and potluck lunch.

  • Gathering and welcoming (10-10:30)

  • Session One (10:30 - 12:00): Foraging for edible spring greens; Ivy Basketry; tending Mason Bees; Learn to make Dandelion fritters; + your ideas here!

  • Potluck lunch

  • Session Two (1:00 - 2:30p): Learn to spin wool; Making herbal simple syrup; + your ideas here!

  • Session Three (2:30 - 4:00p): Spring-inspired song sharing; How to fix a thing (electrical outlet edition); + your ideas here!

Meet in the Village Green!

Onsite parking limited; please carpool, bike, or take the #35 bus and walk through the woods (see directions).
