Land-Tending Work Party - Feb 28 at 10 am

Join us for our monthly land-tending work party and skill share. This month, we'll remove invasive blackberry (and learn to distinguish it from native blackberry), practice techniques for seeding native species in a green wall, and create parking stops for our parking area. Join us afterward for our our Land-Tending Team meeting and snacks. The farm's driveway is at the south end of the Tryon Creek State Natural Area parking lot on Boones Ferry Rd., roughly opposite Coronado St. As you drive down the driveway, you'll see parking spaces on your left. We will meet at the farm's Outdoor Kitchen, just downhill from those parking spaces.

Join us for volunteer orientation to learn about the many ways you can volunteer at the farm: land tending, outdoor education, events, and more. Help out one time or be an ongoing volunteer. You'll learn about the history of the farm and get a chance to explore. If you wish, stay for our monthly potluck at 6 p.m. No RSVP or commitment required.
