SUMMARY:Artist’s Alchemy\; Textile Upcycling
DESCRIPTION:Hey friends! TLC Events team here. Join us for two
  lovely evenings of alchemy crafting. This skillsh
 are is for ages 16+ and no previous skills requir
 ed. This is a two part event\n \n May 13th 6:00pm-
 8:00pm\n \n May 20th 6:00pm- 8:00pm (or sooner)\n 
 \n We are going to be going over a slide show with
  history on textile upcycling and the ways it has 
 been done as forms of protests\, activism\, and re
 siliency. From there\, we will begin sorting throu
 gh the tshirts we have and looking for letters tha
 t we need and want. Next\, we will cut the letter
 s\, photos\, or phrases. After\, we will put the l
 etters/phrases together to form seweable patches. 
 Lastly\,  you can go home with an awesome patch 
 or we can aid in attaching the path to an item of 
 clothing!\n \n All cutting supplies will be provid
 ed. We are going to work our hardest to accumulate
  as many tshirts as we can for guests. We encourag
 e you to bring your own and some to share. Ask fri
 ends or family for donations if you can! Let us kn
 ow at events@tryonfarm.org if you have several tsh
 irts to bring and share.\n \n This is a free event
 \, first 10 people to register can attend. We will
  send you a confirmation email.
