Volunteer Educator Training and Tea

Come enjoy tea and snacks while you learn how to volunteer with TLC Farm! This training will include all you need to know to lead children and youth through an engaging visit to the land.


Do you like working outdoors with kids? Looking for more teaching experience? Come volunteer as an educator with TLC Farm's Hands-On Sustainability Youth Education Program! Learn how to engage participants aged preschool through college in an interactive farm tour and hands-on activities and lessons focused on permaculture, sustainable waste management, natural building and more! This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience teaching and leading groups, public speaking and event organizing.

This training provides you with all you need to know to get started, including an in-depth look at the farm, tools for working with youth of various ages and backgrounds as well as games & team-building activities.

Bilingual Spanish speakers are highly encouraged to join us!
